streptolydigin生合成gene clusterの報告。

上流ORFの挿入変異株の解析より、本ORFはstreptolydigin生産に関与する領域(PKS-NRPS system)であることが示されている。

SlgGはstreptolydigin生合成の最終stepに関与し、
合成されたL-rhodinoseをaglyconにtransferするglycosyltransferaseだと推測している。

また、streptolydigin誘導体の解析から、2,3,6-trideoxyhexosesと2,6-dideoxyhexosesのD-,L-体両方を認識するL-rhodinosyl transferase SlgGのflexibilityがある程度あることを示した。
