ttnM (339 a.a): hydroxylase

ttnM自体の機能実験は行われていないが、ttnM不活化変異株を作成し、Tautomycetin (TTN)生産が消失し、TTN-M1(C-3' deshydroxy-TTN)と4つの新たな化合物の蓄積が確認されている。また、この変異株にttnMを相補すると30%程度のTTNの生産が回復し、4つの新たな化合物が消失することが確認されている。

また、TTMの特徴であるprotein phosphatase抑制作用にC3' OH moietyが重要であること、protein phosphatase抑制はTTM誘導細胞死を操縦する独占的機構ではないことが明らかになっている。
