続報(和文)にて、抑制性制御遺伝子barB,barZ破壊株におけるvriginiamycin Mとvriginiamycin Sの生産の変化をみている。
BarBはvirginiamycin 生産の初期過程を,またBarZは後期過程を抑制していることが判明し,特にbarZ遺伝子の破壊によりvirginiamycinの生産量を顕著に増加させることが可能となった(unpublished)との記述あり。
