tautomycetin(TTN)を合成するPKSをコードする。

(論文ではLMがmodule 1とされているが、他clustersと揃えてmodule0からのナンバリングに訂正、以下もそれに一致した表記で記載する。)

module 0のstarter unitはmalonyl-CoA
module 1とmodule 3のDH domain においてmotif配列が異なるためinactiveであるとされている。
module 3のKR domainはcatalytic domainにおいて16アミノ酸残基がdeletionしているのでinactiveであるとされている。
module 4のDH domainは構造上、必要無いとしている。

ttnAに関してはttnA不活化変異株を作成し、tautomycetin生産が消失することが示されている。
